As a witch, I love doing protection intent for family and friends. When the need arises, I make protection charms, collecting things I find in nature.Adding in mirrors (to send back / reflect the intent of sender /bells to clear the space)

Tie it all together with some knot magic.

Simple and effective intention magic. ( Prayer anyone?) Finished off with symbols that come in when making it, imbuing the charm with either protection/healing or serious hex energy.

Like most things, I gotta be in the mood or it just sucks. I consider myself a (hectic witch or shit witch ) I don’t follow any set rules and often forget things that most witches innately know. However when it comes to protection, I got skin in the game, it just feels natural and I don’t even have to try really.

It’s taken me years to decipher , “what’s mine and what’s not” energetically. As a young nurse, working , I would feel it all. When doing healings, I would feel it all. About 15 years ago, I figured out a way to know the difference and hasn’t let me down since.

People throw shade all the time, they “spell” you when they speak your name, whether intentional or not. Some feel it, some don’t.

Amulets/protection sigils have been around for eons and many different cultures/religions around the world use “something “ to ward off the evil eye.

I went through a stage, a few years ago and I thought it’s all bullshit! Humans always need something outside of themselves to believe in, whether religion/amulets for protection. I still feel this today, at times.

Being a air sign, I probably think too much…..

I guess also, it can be a “just in cases” feeling? Is that why we are drawn to the big sky daddy or meaning in a sometimes meaningless world?

Faith, prayer and belief are important to some as breathing.

It’s not lost on me, how similar it is.( prayer and intent) Same /same

However having seen,what I believe to be detrimental: such as blind faith, new age cults/extremists/fundamentalists, also people standing behind religion for protection and forgiveness, after being proper cunts..

Just my opinion, and honestly when it all boils down to it and we have returned to bones….none of this shit matters. So you gotta do what feels right to you, as you navigate the space rock.

I do and always will believe in energy/ feelings from years of practice and personal experience. Light, grey or dark.Positive or negative.

It’s not quantifiable or measurable, there is no empirical evidence. "Energy" used to describe ideas in esotericism and spirituality can be potentially confusing as it’s not considered in scientific fields.

Somethings can’t be explained and knowing that without following blindly or questioning your beliefs can help. You can sift through what works and what doesn’t.
